Hello and thanks for taking the time to stop by my 2026 London Marathon fundraising page. This will be my first time running London and I'm proud to do this as a charity runner for Farm Africa, a UK-based nonprofit that supports smallholder African farmers, helping to strengthen incomes, create jobs, and reduce poverty.

As some of you may know, I'm a former diplomat previously based in Nairobi, Kenya with the now-shuttered U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Kenya is an incredibly dynamic country and the majority of my office's funding supported food security, nature-based solutions, and climate resilience. Although my family and I now live in France, I still miss East Africa and often think about how to support similar work from here.

Farm Africa is one of the organizations continuing this critical work even as development assistance is greatly reduced. Their programs work in partnership with smallholder farmers to improve the quality, quantity and value of their produce, encourage entrepreneurship for young refugees, train on the use of climate-resilient seeds, and invest in communities that strive for self-sufficiency.
