Taking Charity to New Heights: Marie & Chris’s Death-Defying Wing Walk for NSPCC!
Most people conquer their fears with a steep hill or a public speech... we decided to bolt ourselves to the top of a flying plane.
On 24/8/26 Marie and Chris Evans are swapping the safe, grounded aisles of Lidl for the open skies! Strapped onto the top wing of a vintage biplane, we will be braving high winds, sheer drops, and utter terror—all in our vibrant green NSPCC t-shirts.
Why are we doing something this ridiculously death-defying?
We are raising vital funds for the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children). Every child deserves a safe, happy childhood, and every pound we raise helps ensure that Childline is always there when a child needs someone to turn to. As part of Team Lidl, we are passionate about supporting our communities and doing everything we can to protect the next generation—even if it means being terrified at 1,000 feet!
