Coppafeel - the power is in your hands.

Always remembering to check your chest has been on my radar since my good friend brought me a Coppafeel boob charity umbrella years ago, always made me smile using it and the awareness it spread when using it, (which is a lot because of the amount of rain in the uk!!)

As a result of my friend checking her chest, she found and caught her cancer early, she is the bravest, strongest and best friend I could ever ask for and even through her hardest days she is so selfless and so supportive of me. I feel so blessed to have her in my life and not sure where we would be without each other.

I’ve chosen Coppafeel to raise money and awareness for as without this charity I personally wouldn’t have started or been that aware to check my breasts and how to do it properly.

So…

This September I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing trek, I will embark on a one day trek in the Cotswolds, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.

Anyone that knows me, ‘fitness’ isn’t really my thing so a half marathon distance hike is a great starting point for me and to complete on 13th September, It’s a little scary, anyone who would like to join me for a walk/ get the steps in please reach out and I’ll be walking a lot in the next few months, my good friend Tina is also completing the hike with me as she also has a special connection to raise awareness too and will be with me every step of the way.

Cancer is everywhere and everyone is going through or connected to someone fighting the disease and the more support and awareness raised can only be a good thing, there will be future adventures we take part in to raise more funds for more charities that research and support cancer patients.
