2024 is my year of saying ‘yes’ so I’ve found myself part of this challenge!!

On Saturday 14 Oct we are swimming around Lake32 for 24 hours - yes, even through the night! We're taking shifts in our team.of 7, pulling on wet swimming kit each time it's our turn. We will swim as many 400m laps as we can in the hour before leaving the water to tag our next team member. We'll then get dry and then wake up the next swimmer. Food, chat, maybe whooping our team mate out of the water before trying to get a little sleep in before our next turn. It's a frenetic 24hrs with huge emotions... the daytime celebratory atmosphere, hanging out with awesome like-minded people, the quiet solitude of the night swims and hushed chats around lamplit tables and the last exhausted dawn and morning swims when signing up for next year seems like a very, very silly idea....

Whilst doing this we are raising money so children with disabilities can enjoy the water as much as we do.
