We are appealing to see if any kind people out there could find it in their hearts to help raise funds to help us get Cadbury the life saving surgery she desperately needs🙏🙏

Say hello to 9 week old Cadbury, two weeks ago we were asked by an inspector if we could take in a litter of puppies who they had removed from a home. Sadly they were in a terrible state, extremely underweight and full of parasites.

With emergency veterinary care and good food our 6 little babies improved no end and became the lively playful puppies they should be at that age. All except Cadbury.

It soon became clear something wasn’t quite right and when we picked her up we could feel her heart wasn’t beating correctly. She was booked in at Green Vets for a heart scan. Unfortunately this revealed that she had a PDA, this is where one of the arteries to her heart never closed at birth. This will lead to heart failure if not corrected.

We really want to give this gorgeous girl a future, after her awful start to life she really does deserve her happy ever after. As we are a self funding branch we receive no funding from the National RSPCA or the government. We have to raise all our own funds.

We are appealing to try and raise £2000 to help cover the cost of her surgery. We understand with the cost of living it’s going to be tough but if we don’t ask we don’t get. Every little helps so no matter how big or small we are grateful of every single penny.

Even if you are unable to donate please do help by sharing this post so we can get it out far and wide.

We will also be looking out for any potential adopters who may want to adopt her or one of her litter mates after.

Once again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts in advance. We really do appreciate everything.

If by any chance we raise above what we need the money will go towards other vet bills.

Thank you.
