I feel incredibly lucky to have grown up with the freedom to play, imagine, laugh and simply be a child. Play was such a natural part of my life, and it is easy to forget what a privilege that is.

That is why I am raising money for Starlight, the UK’s leading charity for children’s play in hospitals and hospices. For children facing illness, treatment and difficult days, play is more than just fun. It can bring comfort, reduce fear and pain, and help children feel like themselves again, even in the hardest moments.

Every child deserves the chance to be a child. I hope that by raising money for Starlight, we can help give children in hospitals and hospices the opportunity, space and time to play, laugh and experience moments of joy when they need it most.
