Two years ago, Andrew and I stepped onto a plane to France with full anticipation that God was on the move and that we were stepping into something marked by Kingdom impact.

We didn’t go because it was convenient.

We went because the Lord had been stirring something in our hearts for years.

In France, we sat across tables from pastors and leaders from Europe and Africa. We listened to their stories. We heard their needs—not for recognition or platforms—but for structure. For long-term biblical and ministry training they could bring into their churches without leaving their families or congregations. Practical training to equip them for the ministry of the here and now.

We knew France was about planting seeds—seeds we might not see grow for a long time.

Europe is still in motion. Relationships are still strengthening. Conversations are still unfolding. And as is often the case in Europe, things move thoughtfully and slowly. We are committed to that process. Foundations there are being laid carefully and prayerfully.

But what we didn’t anticipate was how far those seeds would travel…

Through the relationships formed in France, we were invited into meetings with prominent Foursquare leaders from across Africa. There was immediate alignment—a shared desire to equip the Church in a sustainable way.

And from those conversations came a formal invitation:

Come to the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Bring the training.

So of course… Here I am, Lord. Send me.

I’ve been invited to train and equip more than 500 pastors and leaders in Congo—not just to teach content, but to train them how to establish and run Bible, ministry, and community training schools in their own regions. We will place curriculum and materials directly into their hands, freely, so they can immediately begin equipping others.

Five hundred leaders.

Every time I say that number, I’m deeply moved—not because it sounds impressive, but because of what it represents: churches built up, communities discipled, families strengthened, and generations impacted.

This time, though, looks different.

Andrew and I began this journey side by side in France. But because of the elevated travel risk in Congo, I will be going without him and without our girls. I’ve been invited to join a carefully selected team assembled with the security realities in mind. After much prayer, we have peace.

Still—as a mama—stepping away carries weight.

Each night as I tuck my daughters into bed, I pray that they would walk in the way the Lord calls them (Proverbs 22:6). I pray they would trust that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8–9). I pray they would grow courageous and confident in Him.

And I’ve realized something important:

If I want them to live out bold faith, they need to see it lived.

The gifts God gives us are meant to be stewarded (1 Peter 4:10–11). I don’t want to hide what He has entrusted to me. I want to walk in it—even when it stretches me, and honestly, even when it scares me.

Stepping out in obedience—first to France, and now to Congo—is part of the beautiful multiplication God is doing.

To step into this assignment, I need to raise $6,000 to cover airfare, team logistics, curriculum and equipment to help launch these schools, and on-the-ground support.

I’m inviting you to partner in this—to be part of this step of faith and this work of serious, lasting impact.

Not simply to fund a trip, but to invest in strengthening the Church in regions that are ready and asking for training.

To store up treasure in heaven that will outlast our lives and leave a legacy. An opportunity to be part of what God is building in communities longing for discipleship.
