Story
In November 2025, I will be joining an amazing team of trekkers facilitated by my company Venari Partners to embark on a seven-day 100km journey through untouched rainforest in Colombia in support of Women for Women International. This isn’t just an adventure; it’s a commitment to stand in solidarity with women survivors of war and conflict.
Over the years, I have travelled widely, often seeking out experiences that bring me closer to the lives of others. From hitchhiking into Pakistan with female farmers to visiting teenage pregnancy centers in rural Peruvian towns, I have seen first-hand how transformative it is when women are given the tools, confidence, and opportunity to succeed. Those encounters left a lasting impression on me: when women are empowered, families and entire communities are lifted with them.

That is why I have chosen to raise funds for Women for Women International. Since 1993, the organisation has supported over half a million women in countries devastated by war, providing them with skills training, education on health and rights, access to savings and income, and the support networks they need to rebuild their lives.

Taking on the physical and mental challenge of the Expedition is my way of honouring the resilience of these women and drawing attention to their courage. Every donation will help Women for Women International reach more women and give them the chance to create brighter, more secure futures.
This journey is deeply personal for me, shaped by the stories and strength of women I’ve met across the world.
