I feel very lucky to have been asked to join Wilma Lawrie (see the link below) and her amazing assistance dog, Belle, in a sponsored KiltWalk in Edinburgh for Canine Partners this September or to be more precise I'm signed up for the “wee wander” walk which is 5 miles!

Canine Partners is a registered charity that transforms the lives of people with physical disabilities by partnering them with specially trained assistance dogs. They are in need, now more than ever, of financial help as these amazing dogs bring a greater independence and quality of life to their partners, offering security, companionship, and practical help with everyday household tasks. These life-changing dogs also provide psychological and social benefits including increased independence, confidence, social interaction and self-esteem.
