Dementia UK is a brilliant charity that works to provide support and care to individuals affected by dementia. The organisation is committed to providing Admiral Nurses who provide invaluable care.

We will be taking on the challenge of completing the Yorkshire three peaks under 12 hours, this is a charity we voted on together and that is very close to our hearts.

Here is a note from some of the team:

By sharing this experience I hope to raise awareness about the impact of dementia on families and emphasise the vital role Dementia UK plays in offering guidance, assistance and a beacon of hope for those navigating a difficult time"

"I lost a loved one in November, they had alzheimer's for around 7 years and barely recognised me in the last 2/3 years. So many families experience the same and I think it's an important charity in raising funds for nurses and steps towards a cure. It is a heartbreaking disease, with families having to witness the loss of loved ones"

We will be embarking on a trek of the Yorkshire 3 peaks, which include: Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-ghent. This is a 24 mile (38.6km) round trip and involves over 1500m in ascent!
