I’ve grown my hair for over ten years….now it’s all coming off…and here’s why:

It has been an absolute privilege to support and care for those living with Dementia and their families.

Working for The Order of St John Care Trust has been an amazing and rewarding experience.

There has been much laughter and some tears! but it has all been worth it as I know I am doing everything I can to make sure each persons day is filled with joy, happiness, contentment and fun! I ensure compassion, empathy and love is always given to both individuals and their families.

I have been touched by the love and compassion shown by our wonderful Admiral Nurses and have learnt so much from them.

The exceptional training I have received from our Admiral Nurses has ensured that those I care for and support can get the absolute best out of their lives in a meaningful way.

£4 could pay for the telephone costs of one family calling the Helpline for free to get the support they need.

£10 could help 10 families find out more about dementia and how to get a diagnosis for a loved one through funding our information and advice leaflets.

£25 could pay for a carer to receive an hour of one-to-one support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse on our free Helpline.

£50 could pay for two carers to receive an hour of one-to-one support from a dementia specialist Admiral Nurse on our free national Helpline.

£87 could pay for a monthly two-hour clinical supervision session for up to eight Admiral Nurses
