Story

A child’s upbringing and environment can have a massive impact on their life long term — shaping the decisions they make, the opportunities they have, and the path they end up on. Every child deserves to feel safe, supported, and given the best possible start in life, but sadly that isn’t the reality for so many young people.

Every night, hundreds of young people face the frightening reality of having nowhere safe to sleep. Youth homelessness isn’t always visible, but it’s happening right now. It’s not just about having no home, it’s about lacking stability, security, and the kind of environment that allows someone to grow, feel safe, and make positive choices.

That’s why what Step by Step does is so important. They provide safe accommodation, practical support, and ongoing guidance to help young people rebuild their confidence and create a more stable future. It’s about more than just a roof over their head — it’s about giving them the care, structure, and support they need to feel secure and move forward.

That’s also why I’ve decided to take on the abseil challenge. It’s a small step for me, but it represents something much bigger — helping young people get access to safety, support, and a real chance at a better start in life.

If you’re able to support in any way, it would genuinely mean so much. Every donation helps contribute towards giving a young person not just a place to stay, but the stability, care, and opportunities they deserve.

Thank you for supporting me, and for supporting Step by Step 🤍
