Story
Every £50 raised gives one new mum a dedicated one-to-one breastfeeding support appointment. I’m aiming to raise £500 to support 10 women when they need it most.
In April 2026, I’ll be running in the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for Baby Umbrella, an extraordinary local charity I’m proud to be a trustee of.
I'm running for Baby Umbrella because I was once one of the parents they helped. Their free breastfeeding and new-parenting support was a lifeline for me after both of my daughters were born. Because of Baby Umbrella, no new parent in my community has to face those early months alone. They offer compassionate, tailored support at a time when it can make all the difference.
Every service Baby Umbrella provides is completely free, made possible only through donations. By supporting my run, you’re helping ensure that more parents, especially mothers, can access the care, reassurance, and practical help they need during one of the most vulnerable periods of their lives.
