On Sunday 30th November 2025, I’ll be running (or possibly walking!) 5K at Conyngham Hall in Knaresborough as part of Mental Elf—a festive fun run that brings people together to support mental wellbeing and raise funds for a vital cause.

I’m doing this to support Mind in Harrogate District, a local charity that recently launched a new children and young people’s mental health service. This service is already making a difference by offering counselling, drop in sessions, and resources for schools —but it needs ongoing funding to grow and reach even more young people.

Since 2017, the number of young people struggling with their mental health has nearly doubled. Every donation helps ensure that no child or teenager in our community faces those challenges alone.

I have also been apart of mind this year and the support with adult services are amazing
