Fighting for Every Dog’s Chance – My Brutal Challenge for PDSA
I have loved animals all my life. I grew up surrounded by pets, and today my home is filled with love from my wife, two kids, a cat called Ruby, and my four-legged boy, Bailey, who joins me on adventures.

Last year, my wife and my boy (Bailey), and I climbed Ben Nevis for the first time. It felt like a huge achievement. Then, only a few months ago, the three of us did it again, and it was an incredible experience!
This year, I decided to challenge myself by taking on the Brutal Extreme Triathlon whilst raising money for PDSA.
(my start is Half Brutal)
- 1.2 mile lake swim in Llyn Padarn
- 56 mile bike ride through the Welsh mountains
- 14.7 mile run a full lake lap and then take on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon mountain )

I’ve decided to raise money for PDSA as unfortunately, not every pet is as lucky as most. Every day in the UK, dogs are brought into vets in pain, injured, sick, or suffering, with owners who desperately want to help them but simply can’t afford treatment.
Too often, that means heartbreaking decisions no family should ever have to make.
Fortunately, that’s where PDSA really steps in.

Fortunately, that’s where PDSA really steps in.

They provide free and low cost veterinary care for pets whose owners are struggling. They save lives. They stop suffering, and they keep families together.

The Brutal Extreme Triathlon will be the most challenging thing I have ever taken on. It will test my limits, physically and mentally. But, in my eyes, it’s nothing compared to what some pets and owners go through without help.
I have worked in the pet industry for over 8 years, making healthy treats to keep dogs happy and thriving.
Now, I want to give back in a bigger way by using this challenge to help PDSA reach more pets in crisis.
Every pound you donate will help fund life-saving treatment, pain relief, and emergency surgery for pets whose families have nowhere else to turn.

What does your donation achieve?
£1 can help.
£10 could fund medication.
£50 could help towards emergency surgery.
Please, donate whatever you can and share this page.
Let’s make sure no dog suffers simply because their owner can’t afford to save them.
THANK YOU
