100km Death march (Dodentocht) Bornem, Belgium · 8 August 2025

Rosemere Cancer Foundation supports world-class care for the 70,000 people in Lancashire and South Cumbria currently living with cancer, by funding cutting-edge equipment, research, training, and patient welfare projects to make their cancer journey more effective, comfortable and stress-free.

Story

Andrew and I will be taking on one of the biggest walking challenges we have ever undertaken. Walking 100km (62 miles) in Bornem, Belgium. The event called The Dodentocht (Dutch for Death March) is a long-distance march of 100 kilometers starting at 9pm Friday evening 8/8/25 with a time limit of 24 hours to complete the event.

We all know someone close to us or a loved one that has been to the Rosemere cancer foundation for care and support.

The money raised with help fund, cutting edge equipment to help clinicians remain at the forefront of the fight against cancer.
