Story

Hi everyone, and thank you for visiting my page.

I'll be honest: I am not a morning person. So the fact that I regularly get up for a 5:40 am bike ride is hilarious to me. But I do it, two times a week, because it's how I get to see the sunrise with some of the best people I know.

I've been part of Edinburgh Dawn Patrol since the very beginning, when Markus Stitz first started the group. What began as just a "spin and a coffee" has become something that means everything to me. It's a supportive, kind, and inspiring group of people who have slowly become my close friends.

This summer, I found out just how much this community means. I broke my arm and was off the bike for weeks. The group was incredible—they checked in on me constantly, encouraged me to talk, and kept me feeling part of everything, even when I couldn't turn a pedal. I'm so proud to know them.

Now, we want to take all that friendship, support, and collective effort and do something huge with it.

In March 2026, I'll be riding the Doddie Aid Triple Crown Challenge.

This is a massive undertaking for our group: 720 miles, 4 nations, in just 4 days. We're riding from Melrose to Dublin to raise vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), honouring the legacy of the great Doddie Weir.

I'm going to be completely honest with you: I'm incredibly nervous.

This is without a doubt the biggest mental and physical challenge I have ever set for myself. A single day of this challenge is longer than any ride I've ever completed, let alone doing it four days in a row. Right now, the distance seems daunting, scary, and almost unimaginable.

But I'm also incredibly proud to be part of this. I know that with a lot of training, I can get myself to the finish line. I'm doing this because I want to see this community I've helped build succeed in supporting a truly amazing charity. I'm excited to visualise our team arriving in Dublin, tired but triumphant.

This ride isn't just about the miles; it's about making a difference for those living with MND. Every donation you make will not only support this vital cause but will also be a huge boost for me during those long, hard days of training and the ride itself.

Thank you so much for your support. It means the world to me.
