Story
This year I’m taking on the Chester Marathon 2025 — the longest distance I’ve ever run! Training for this challenge, talking with my patients, and pushing myself further than I thought possible has shown me just how vital good nutrition and a strong sense of community are when it comes to achieving our goals, whatever they may be.
That’s why I’m fundraising for Soul Kitchen Chester, an incredible initiative led by Helen and a team of dedicated volunteers. They provide support, food, and community for people who are homeless or vulnerable in Chester.
By supporting me, you’ll also be supporting the amazing work they do to bring hope, nourishment, and connection to those who need it most.
Soul Kitchen are a group of volunteers who provide food and support to anyone experiencing loneliness, food poverty or homelessness in Chester.
They cook food, run activities and offer a listening ear to find out what people need to move forward with their lives.
Based in the city of Chester, they work with partners across Cheshire to help people access a range of services including housing, mental health, addiction recovery, financial support, employment and legal assistance.

It's an entirely volunteer led organisation that relies on donations and partnerships - please sponsor me and help support the fantastic Soul Kitchen.
