Story

On July 14th, I’ll be attempting to do something I haven’t done since 1983 and that is run a race!

Two of my closest friends in the world are currently battling the cruelty of cancer and I am constantly in awe of their courage and bravery.

So the least I can do is attempt to get round the Ilkley Half Marathon. I won’t be breaking any records I can assure you of that and I certainly won’t be winning it but I’ll do all I can to complete it.

I appreciate times are tough but if there is anything, no matter how small, you can donate to my just giving page for Macmillan cancer support it would mean a lot.

To Clarky and Cheets, you’ll be in my thoughts every step of the way. Keep fighting - you’re both doing amazing and my biggest inspirations. ❤️👊❤️

Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs.
