Story
The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race marks a decade of partnership with UNICEF. Together this partnership has already raised an incredible £1.6 million for children across the globe. The 2025/26 Clipper Race aims raise a further £420,000 to support UNICEF's vital work for children in need.
UNICEF works tirelessly to save and protect children’s lives. They provide essentials like clean water, nutritious food, shelter, vaccines, and education, while also protecting children from violence, exploitation, and abuse. Through these efforts, they empower children to survive, thrive, and shape a brighter future.
I took on the adventure of a lifetime, racing around the world in the Clipper 2025–26 Race, which began on 31 August 2025, I invite you to join me and my crew in supporting this life-changing mission. Every pound you give will have a direct and tangible impact.
I completed the race and circumnavigation of the world on 25th July 2026. The last stage of the race was from Oban, Scotland to Portsmouth. My team yacht, Qingdao, finished the race stage in first place, ahead of the other nine Clipper yachts. I am proud of my team's excellent performance and the monies we have raised for UNICEF over the last eleven months.
