I’m doing this to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity, which supports firefighters and their families when they need it most. This year marks my 20th year in the service, and I can’t think of a better way to give something back.

My goal is £100 for every hour — that’s £1,200 total.

There’ll also be extra ropes available, so anyone who fancies joining in can skip along for as little or as long as they like. The more, the merrier — and it might even make the time go a bit faster!

Every donation, big or small, will help keep me going.
