The Beatson Cancer Centre is the largest cancer centre in Scotland and serves as the lead centre for non-surgical cancer care. The support they receive through fundraising is vital in enabling them to continue providing first-class specialist treatment and support to patients and families. I have witnessed first-hand the incredible work they do and the profound difference they can make during such challenging times.

I am excited to announce that I will be hosting a Tennis-A-Thon Charity Event at Falkirk Lawn Tennis Club on October 26, 2025, in aid of both Strathcarron Hospice and Beatson Cancer Charity. The afternoon aims to bring our community together for a day filled with sport, fun, and various fundraising activities and challenges. This event is my way of supporting Beatson Cancer Charity to help raise the much-needed funds required to staff the most skilled and dedicated healthcare professionals in our country. It is essential that they continue to provide a calm, relaxing, and therapeutic environment for patients, which helps improve their wellbeing and enhances their recuperation.

Many of us have been affected by cancer, making this cause particularly meaningful. Every penny we raise will help support a friend, neighbour or relative in making their cancer journey easier.
