Story
Geordie Bullies Springboard rescue take in, rehabilitate and re home Bulldogs. It relies totally on volunteers and often the dogs come in with untreated medical issues that the charity does its best to resolve. They provide loving and caring homes for this wonderful breed. All the people that give up their time and energy for this wonderful charity are unsung heroes and without them many of theses wonderful souls would continue to suffer and sometimes worse.
My own Bulldog story involves my own Geordie Bully called Bertie. He came into the rescue having been used as a stud dog by an unscrupulous breeder and was in a poor condition. He had urine burns on his legs and he had spent most of his life living like a stud dog and not the family pet he deserved to be. Geordie Bullies took him in and rehabilitated him. We applied for him and he is now a permanent part of our family.
