I'm running the London Marathon in memory of my work colleagues daughter Bethaney Patterson who sadly passed from mitochondrial disease in 2023.

I know she was an inspiration to her family, courageous in her fight against this cruel disease and never once complained and I'd like to raise as much money as I can for the Lily Foundation who supported Bethaney throughout her journey and are still supporting her parents to this day.

Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting.
