Story
As many people reading this will know that last year, we lost my Mum, Judy, to a brain tumour.
I ran my first marathon in London 2019 and was adamant it would also be my last. However, last year I had a feeling of unfinished business having never run for Mum’s charity. Now, I can’t wait to run in dedication to her, and the amazing charity work both her and my Dad have done in her name. It would mean the world to me to cross that finish line carrying her name and knowing I’m contributing in some way to find a cure for this awful disease.
I’m extremely proud of the fundraising work my Mum and Dad have taken on since Mum’s initial diagnosis in 2012. At the time of writing, the Judy D’cruz Fund now stands at £111,924.36.You can read more about my Mum's story here: https://judydcruz.com/
Brain Tumours remain the biggest cancer killer of children and young people under 40.
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to finding a cure.
Thank you for your support -a cure really can't wait.
