I was privileged enough with a group of 16 close friends to go see the actual battle fields/beaches of the D day landings on the 80th anniversary of the D day landings. It was an amazing/emotional experience to be in the company of real heroes who showed there bravery for our freedom.

Watching the RBL supporting and chaperone our heroes on the ferry over to France the morning of our crossing was when I decided I wanted to do something to support this wonderful organization.

So…..

On Sunday 06th April 2025 I will be running the London Landmark half marathon for Royal British Legion. I will be running for all our Armed forces veterans, past and present.

The RBLI are the leading provider of employability services to the disabled and disadvantaged in the Armed Forces community. They provide vital employment support, advice and homes to those struggling on civvy street.

The RBLI have a 83% success rate in supporting ex-forces personnel. I believe none of our Armed forces personnel should struggle when leaving the forces and deserve all the help they need for the sacrifice they've made for us. This is a charity close to my heart and would appreciate any support you can offer.
