On April 27th, I’ll be joining 56,000 runners on the start line of this year’s London Marathon.

I’m raising funds for the Hertfordshire Showband, a local charity based in Potters Bar. The charity offers young people incredible opportunities to come together, learn, and perform award-winning showband music and marching at local, national, and international events and competitions.

Currently, the band is preparing to compete in the prestigious 2026 World Music Contest (WMC) in Kerkrade, Holland, after their outstanding double gold medal success in 2022. This competition is only held once every four year, and they need our help to get there!

By sponsoring the band, you’ll be supporting the significant costs of equipment, rehearsals, transportation, and more as they embark on this exciting journey. Your contribution will help provide these talented young musicians with an unforgettable experience, as they preparing for this global competition.
