Story
In January 2027, I will be taking on the Dakar Rally, widely regarded as the toughest motorsport race in the world.
Over two weeks, competitors cross 8'390 km of desert, mountains and remote wilderness, facing extreme conditions, exhaustion and constant physical and mental challenges. After years of training and competing in rally raid events, qualifying for and reaching the Dakar has been a personal goal for a long time.
For two weeks I will sleep in a tent, endure long days on the bike and push myself through one of the most demanding sporting events on earth. I am incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to take on this challenge by choice.
Unfortunately, many people face similar hardship every day through no choice of their own.
That is why I am using my Dakar journey to raise funds for Shiloh Rotherham, a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion across our local community. Through our family business, we have supported Shiloh for many years and have seen first-hand the incredible work they do to provide practical help, dignity, hope and a pathway to a better future.
100% of all donations made through this page will go directly to Shiloh.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help Shiloh continue supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community.
Thank you for supporting both my Dakar Rally challenge and the outstanding work of Shiloh.
