WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.

Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.

I like to go for a long walk and this time I thought it would be good to bring benefits to others further a field than just on the way. We all take readily available water, toilets and hygiene for granted. Doing a bit towards providing water will help 'these little ones' to live to adulthood and give them the possibility to find true Living Water. The plan is to walk from my front door, in Stornoway, to the heel of Italy, something over 2000 miles. Thanks for your help and support.
