Rowcroft Hospice supports adults living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon. I've supported Rowcroft for over 35 years through monthly donations, lottery subscription, in their shops and sponsoring others' fundraising activities. I thought, however, that the time was long-overdue for me to take part in a fundraising event or challenge myself, so I've signed up to be part of the team of fundraisers taking on the Climb Mount Kilimanjaro challenge in September 2026.

Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa at 5,895 metres and this hike will be the biggest physical challenge I've ever taken on. There will, for sure, be tough times ahead during the training and in the climb itself. Knowing that every step I take on this journey will be with the support of family, friends and colleagues will help get me through those tough times as well as raise vital funds for Rowcroft. Please therefore give what you can in support of this wonderful cause.
