We are fundraising in loving memory of Mark.

During dads time in hospital, the doctors and nurses often struggled to find his veins because chemotherapy and his illness had caused them to collapse. This made an already difficult journey even harder.

Vein finder machines can make a huge difference for patients in these situations. They use light technology to help medical staff locate veins more quickly, reducing repeated attempts, pain, and distress. However, these machines are not widely available across wards, often because of cost.

In Mark’s memory, we would like to raise money to fund another vein finder machine for the William Harvey hospital. It is our way of honouring him while also helping future patients and their families during their most challenging times.
