As Captains of Abbeydale Golf Club for 2026 Mark and Meena have decided on Macmillan Cancer Support as their chosen charity for the year.

This charity is really close to our hearts and means so much personally.

All of our fundraising events will be in support of this wonderful and much needed charity which does so much excellent work, not just for the person diagnosed but their family, friends and wider support network.

It is a shocking statistic that 98% of the budget Macmillan use each and every year is raised through donations. That tells us all that the money raised is vital to help continue the services they offer and without it we would all miss out on these amazing people helping to change lives.

Another frightening statistic is that there is only ONE MacMillan nurse currently working to cover the whole of Sheffield, that isn’t right and through your donations we can hopefully help change that.

We would both like to thank you deeply for your help and support and we hope the monies we raise go some way to helping those who so desperately need it.
