Event: Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run 2023, from 6 October 2023 to 8 October 2023
The Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run takes place in October 2023 with over 100 Triumph motor cars crossing Britain to raise funds for the Huntington's Disease Association.

Story

2,000 miles around Britain in 48 hours in a 48 year old car - sounds bonkers, but this is our 12th entry for the RBRR, and we are hoping to maintain our 100% record. RGK, our 1975 Dolomite Sprint will be our car for this year's event, and she is no stranger to it, having completed it every year since 2012. We will be taking part with over 100 other Triumph cars from Heralds to Stags and everything in between.

This is a tough endurance event: tough on the car, and tough on the drivers. There are no overnight stops, no comfy hotels. We will be driving for around 40 of the 48 hours, with the other 8 hours spent checking into the various scheduled stops en route, having a breakfast at each John O Groats and Lands End, and the occasional fuel stop.

We expect to achieve around 38mpg and all of our carbon emissions from the event will be offset by a carbon neutral scheme endorsed by the Historic Vehicles official body.

We would dearly love to surpass our target of £3,000 this year. The event as a whole will hopefully raise over £100,000 once again. if you are able to support us with a donation, please do so. Thanks for reading, and thanks for your support.

Wish us luck!!
