Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This will be my 12th Consecutive London Marathon (am going for 15 consecutive now....), Renée's FIRST London Marathon (I still quite cant believe it...) and Father Marek's (he has done SO many I have lost count) quickest one yet Marathon.

As always, we are running (or with me and Renée probably crawling....) for BCCS which is a charity that we all hold close to our hearts due to the work they do with ALL children from ALL denominations supporting their emotional health and wellbeing.

BCCS work to improve the lives and life chances of children and young people, by offering a wide range of highly professional support and advice services in schools. Their diverse school team is made up of well qualified counsellors, therapists and social workers who provide support services to over 100 schools for over 1,000 children and their families each year.

BCCS’s biggest undertaking is the one-to-one work they do in schools with children. However, this is not right for every child, and so BCCS also provide therapeutic support to children, young people and families in their dedicated counselling rooms at their head office.

As an extension of their services, BCCS also provide expert training and supervision to school staff as well as specialist support to parents for developing skills to enhance the wellbeing of children and young people.

Thank you for your support as always.
