I am taking part in the Pendle Pub Walk 2026, a 13-mile trek through the beautiful Pendle countryside, to raise vital funds for Pendleside Hospice.

My family and I are walking to remember my brother, Jonathan, and to give back to the incredible staff who cared for him during his final days. Jonathan passed away on June 20th, 2025, following a battle with a very aggressive cancer.

The hospice provides a sanctuary not just for the ill, but for their families as well. We were able to rely on their support because of the generosity of those who donated before us. Please consider making a contribution so that Pendleside can continue to be there for other families when their need is greatest.

It currently costs £6.4 million a year to run the hospice, with only around 20% funded. That’s why fundraising – and your support – is so important.
