"walking for John" is a challenge devised by Mark and John after learning both their dads (who are both called John) have been diagnosed with various types of cancer that leaves a difficult uphill challenge ahead of them. Mark and John are taking on their own huge challenge to raise as much money as possible for the selected charities. We intend to carry a log on our shoulders for 24 hrs solid. As if that’s not hard enough, we will be carrying the log and traversing as many times as possible in 24hrs, the famous Pen Y Fan route, the training ground for the special forces “fan dance” during selection!
