London to Brighton Bike Ride 2025 · 15 June 2025 ·

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Jenny Hodkinson sadly passed away in 2024 at the age of 34 after a brave fight with pancreatic cancer. Jenny was a talented young lawyer who had worked with Mark in two different companies and was a dual US/UK qualified lawyer. She was also an amazing athlete having represented the UK as a triathlete. Jenny also encouraged Mark to challenge himself and once convinced him to take part in a corporate triathlon challenge with a group of colleagues (which they won!). It only seems right therefore that a fitting memory is to take part in a sporting challenge! Mark has convinced his friend and colleague Jenny Rollins to take part in the London to Brighton Cycle Ride on June 15 2025 with him. Jenny H will be the inspiration to get up up the challenging Ditchling Beacon towards the end of the ride.

We are doing this in Jenny's memory and to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK. We would love your support. More about Pancreatic Cancer UK is set out below.

We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more. We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten."
