We are setting up a 650-metre course around the Alps with the purpose of all pupils completing in a sponsored walk around the playing fields. This event is aimed at raising funds for the Roffensian Foundation who are looking to create a new building with Changing Rooms and facilities for all using the Alps to benefit from.

We will be running the event by House and will be looking to award prizes for the individuals who complete the most laps in each year group, the year group that completes the most laps and the House that completes the most laps.

We would like to encourage all parents, family members, friends, ORs to support this fund-raising initiative. You can sponsor an individual year group or house by going too.

The objectives of the Foundation are to raise support from the wider King’s community of alumni, parents, staff and friends through donations and legacies. This support will be allocated to our specific Estates Development Plan, bursaries that will support education at the School, or other projects which the Governors and executive team may identify.

With the charitable support of our community, King’s School Rochester has a history of helping children to reach their potential since our foundation in 604AD. A donation to support King’s School Rochester via the Roffensian Foundation, will continue to allow our School and pupils to develop, both now and in the future. However, we are also emphasising that The Roffensian Foundation will welcome different forms of support to be contributed, ensuring the community feels they can support the Foundation both in “cash and kind”.
