Story
Epilepsy is a common health condition, that too many people know nothing about. Most people see epilepsy as an inconvenience. Flashing lights and falling over. Not an unpredictable and potentially fatal condition.
Epilepsy Action is creating a world without limits for everyone affected by epilepsy, connecting people with others, and providing support and information you can trust. We’re calling out the misunderstanding, prejudice and barriers that stop people with epilepsy living their best life.
Epilepsy says stop. We say go.
I’m raising funds for Epilepsy Action as in March 2025, my life changed forever when I had a tonic clonic seizure. Along the way I’ve had CT scans, Lumbar Punch and blood tests. After my NHS neurology appointment was cancelled, I decided to private, and after a sleep deprived EEG was diagnosed with generalised epilepsy. A condition that has impacted my and my family’s life forever.
If you could spare some money to support this cause and I’ll post regular updates of me walking up and down Southend sea front!
