The Myeloma “ My Greatest Walk” ( previously 3.8 with a mate) walk is to be held on 3 March 2024. It is a day designed to help increase the awareness of Myeloma, gather with family and friends, and raise some money to support Myeloma Australia. Myeloma Australia provides a nation wide nursing service which provides invaluable support to those living with Myeloma and their carers. In addition, it supports key research into finding a cure and also improving the drugs used to manage the cancer and its side effects. I was diagnosed with Myeloma in 2021 and will be celebrating 2 years in remission post the stem cell transplant in March 2022.
