Story
I am running as part of Team Marsden for the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2026 in memory of my younger brother David who we lost way to early, for everyone who is fighting cancer, for those who have beaten it and as a challenge to myself. The Half is 6 days before my 70th birthday. I was in London last year for a Cleveland Browns game and saw the streets signs for last year’s event. I was honored to be chosen by Royal Marsden as a charity runner for this event. I am currently training for the upcoming half marathon. On April 29th, after completing a base building program, I ran a 2 mile time trial at the University of Virginia track. I am participating in a half marathon training program sponsored by the Charlottesville Track Club. Stay tuned.
