Isla has chosen to raise a little bit of money for the Newcastle Carers charity who are an independent charity that supports carers of all ages - adults, children, and young people - who look after someone living in Newcastle upon Tyne due to illness, disability, mental health issues, or addiction.

Two out of three of us will become carers at some point in our lives and it can be absolutely brutal at times.

Newcastle Carers is a trusted and vital source of support for carers, offering free, confidential, and non-judgmental services to help carers find ways to make their situation easier to manage.

They are here to listen and support and have been a wonderful service to Caroline and I from a health and wellbeing point of view, motivation and continued commitment to the role that we do every day.
