Story
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Many of you will have heard me loudly shout after London 2024, that I would never run another marathon. I also said after my last trip to Paris, I wouldn't go there again either! However on April 12th 2026, I will be attemting to do both by completing the 2026 Paris Marathon in aid of Dementia UK. If you thought it was funny last time, at least I gave myself more time to train! It is however once again for the greatest of causes.
In March 2022, my Dad Peter sadly passed away after a long battle with this awful disease, and in Jaunary 2025, we lost our wondeful Mum (unrelated to Dementia) who gave up so much of the last few years of her life to care for Dad.
I recognise that many of you supported me previously, for which I am eternally grateful, and without expectation, anyone wishing to donate this time around please know it's for a terrific cause, and the amazing work Dementia UK do. By choosing to support me, you will be making a difference to thousands of carers, families and people living with Dementia across the UK.
I won't be doing another one, so this is definitely your last chance!!
Thank you so much in advance, any support is hugely appreciated.
Mark.
