A couple of years ago my Dad was diagnosed with alzheimers. This progressed quite rapidly after a fall landing him in hospital for 6 week's.

It's a horrible illness that has robbed him of his independence and the start of his memories.

I am doing this to raise money in the hopes that this helps to ease or cure this illness for future families having to suffer what ours is going through.

Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
