Story

I am completing two separate treks for Macmillan Cancer Support this year.

On 21 June 2025, I will be tackling the Beat the Peaks Challenge, where I’ll be trekking for 25km through the Peak District in Derbyshire.

I will then be following this up with a 4-day trek along the pilgrim’s trail of the Camino De Santiago in Northern Spain on 17-21 September 2025.

Cancer impacts so many people. I, like so many others, have had both family, and friends, that been through this horrible disease or who are currently undergoing treatment.

Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. It is a charity dear to so many people as a result.

Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes, providing vital support to cancer patients and their loved ones. But without our help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them. This is why every penny raised for them is so important!

It's also why I’ve dug my old walking boots out, and I am going to the well for Macmillan again, by taking on two separate challenges this year, along side several work colleagues, to order to help raise vital funds for this brilliant charity.

I'd be really grateful for anything that you can donate to help Macmillan. Your support, and your help for me to smash my fundraising target, would mean the world to me. I’ll be posting updates of my training and the treks here on this page too.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, when using JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails.

Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to Macmillan and let me know too. So, it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. It'll also help me keep track of the donations I raise, in one handy place.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and for any donations you make to this vital cause.
