Story
Like most things, it’s easy to pass by something without paying it your full attention, until it affects you personally!
Parkinson’s disease has affected me and my family personally since my Dad was diagnosed with it.
Like many people, my Dad is my hero, he has never complained about it and does his best. It’s not easy for him or those closest to him, and it is very hard for Mum too!
I really believe there is a cure for it, and I don’t think we are that far away from this, please support my cause because even if we don’t see the cure or the benefits from the research this can help to fund, others will and they need your support!
Last year me and my brother-in-law, Bert, rode 55 miles to the o2 arena in London, this year I wanted to push that further and try and raise more, so I will be riding 100 miles and be accompanied by some great people, Ludo and Alan are already locked in and we’ve started our training and we have a few others that may be able to join us.
We will be starting on the 7th of September 2024 at around 6 o’clock in the morning and aim to be finished by 6 in the afternoon to enjoy some food and a few beers after!
I have set our target to £1000 but wouldn’t it be great to completely smash that and make a difference to something so close to my heart!
