I am proud to be participating in the Superhero Tri as part of a team from bp’s accessibility employee resource group (ERG) and to be raising money in support of the Superhero Sport Foundation, who believe that every one of the UK’s 14.1m people with disabilities have their own unique superpowers and are there to help unleash them!

With your support, we can all help to power their mission, which is to remove barriers to participation and give more people than ever the belief, tools, and opportunities to enjoy the life-changing power of sport!

It has been a privilege for our teams to be a part of the event since the start, participating every year since 2016, and seeing so many people of all ages and abilities - from those starting out, to world class athletes - all striving to reach their maximum potential!

For me personally, the Superhero Tri challenged me to break through barriers (real and imagined), swimming, running and cycling in a Triathlon for the first time since a life changing accident, and as a direct result of experiencing the event. It’s amazing what seeing a multiple amputee blast around the Superhero Tri in a ParalympicsGB aerosuit can do, to raise all of our consciousness on what is actually possible! 😀

There is always a lot going on in the world and everyone’s lives, so no expectations around donating to this cause. Anything you can do to support, even just with a like or share will be hugely appreciated!
