As President of Market Overton Bowls Club this year, I have chosen to support Breakthrough T1D as my charity. My grandson was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2023 at the age of 8. This condition is lifelong and quite literally turns a person's life upside down, impacting on every aspect of a family's life.

Breakthrough T1D is an incredible charity funding revolutionary research into this condition, which will help thousands of people just like my grandson in years to come.

Market Overton Bowls Club are hosting a dawn til dusk (3:48am til 10:22pm) Bowlathon, thanks to the efforts of members taking part.
