Rather reluctantly, and hopefully for the last time, I shall be joining our Sponsored Sleep Out on 9 October to raise money towards the costs of our work supporting homeless people here in Hackney.

Every year we provide emergency shelter for over 200 people, sparing them from sleeping on the streets, and helping them back into longer term accommodation. We don’t receive any government or local authority funding and rely on these kinds of community initiatives to finance our work.
