Walk 25 Miles in September for Kidney Cancer Patients

Join our 25-Mile Challenge and help support kidney cancer patients across the UK! This September, we’re celebrating 25 years of Kidney Cancer UK – and we’re inviting you to walk with us in honour of everyone affected by kidney cancer.

Story

As you may know in September 2024 I under went an operation to remove a tumour in my Kidney which resulted in me also having a partial nephrectomy. I used the support of this Charity to help me though that time so anything we can do to support them would be appreciated. Things didn't go to plan in Hospital following the operation but with the help and support of family, friends and the hospital staff at Redditch I am now doing well and cancer free

So I am taking part in the 25-Mile Challenge Walk to raise money for Kidney Cancer UK. This charity is the only one in the UK dedicated solely to supporting kidney cancer patients, their families, and carers, while funding vital research and raising awareness of this often-overlooked disease.

I will be walking both at home but also on the golf course as I am able to play again.

Kidney cancer is frequently diagnosed late because it can have no symptoms until it’s advanced. That’s why the work of Kidney Cancer UK is so important – providing counselling, information, and a voice for those affected.

By walking 25 miles, I hope to help make a difference. Every step I take will be for someone facing the challenges of kidney cancer. Please sponsor me and help fund life-changing support and research. 💚

Anything you can give to support the charity would be appreciated.
